When correctly implemented the team is a highly valued resource to A.R.M.
K-9 Instruction is very specific.
- Potential handlers must be willing to dedicate the required amount of time and training to allow the K-9 Unit to develop
- This process is on going and the potential candidate must be committed to both the system and their K-9 partner.
- The selection of the proper K-9 is taught and the unit will become operational in approximately two years.
- Both K-9 and the handler must be educated separately and in unison
